Dans mon travail, j’aime explorer ce qui donne du sens à l’objet que nous utilisons mais aussi à l’espace qui nous entoure. Les aspects symboliques et sémiologiques présents dans les choses avec lesquelles nous interagissons quotidiennement permettent une souplesse interprétative. C’est l’une des prérogatives premières de la fiction que d’extrapoler les qualités de ces choses du réel pour en faire émerger un brin de rêve qui nous ramène à notre condition humaine. Ce constat m’a frappé et c’est pourquoi mes recherches se focalisent sur cette notion de subjectivité singulière (G. Agamben). J’explore des thèmes que l’on peut associer aux champs de la sociologie, de l’anthropologie ou de l’ontologie en remettant en question, par mes expériences quotidiennes et celles de mes proches, cette distance qui nous définit par rapport au non humain. Le vu est un potentiel à imaginer, c’est donc en explorant les manières d’interagir avec celui-ci et d’en traduire une connaissance intime, que je mets en place des stratagèmes narratifs. Ceux-ci mobilisent ainsi une perception toute personnelle d’un récit commun et nous poussent à questionner une appartenance particulière à ce monde, un lien ténu avec l’autre.
Ce qui est récolté et comment récolter est la partie interne de mon travail. Une curiosité constante qui interroge comment l’on s’accroupit pour observer un caillou particulier, une pièce de machine qui est tombée au sol ou encore un insecte aux couleurs invraisemblables déambulant à nos pieds. Observer ces agents imbriqués (E. Coccia) permet alors de générer un dialogue entre ce qui existe autour de soi et comment cela s’interprète. Par le prisme de différents cadrages et identités, se déploient ainsi des outils puissants pour questionner nos singularités dans l’appartenance à un monde aux frontières liquides. De divers gestes impliquant des processus de récoltes et d’agencements, de narrations communautaires et d’analyses sensibles de ce que les images et symboles provoquent en chacun.e de nous, découle une curiosité dans l’enquête du quotidien. Entre arpentage et retour au foyer, j’étudie ainsi la pluralité des moyens d’aborder nos perceptions du monde. Tant sous la forme d’une (re)découverte du chez-soi que d’une acceptation de l’inconnu comme opacité régénérative.

In my work, I like to explore what gives meaning to the objects we use and to the space around us. The symbolic and semiological aspects present in the things with which we interact on a daily basis allow for interpretative flexibility. This is one of one of the primary prerogatives of fiction is to extrapolate the qualities of these things from reality to conjure up a dreamlike quality that brings us back to our human condition. What is harvested and how it is harvested is the inner part of my work.
